Unique Location

You’ll see amazing sunsets over the bay, easy access west to Walker Bay and to the rest of the lake north through Roosevelt Canal. This smaller bay offers great protection from high winds as do our two protected harbors. The bay contains walleye, muskies, northern and good pan fishing. It is also great for tubing, boating, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, etc. With a lovely private sandy beach, it’s easy to relax and enjoy. If you are heading north to Leech Lake, this bay is your closest access.

For the sports anglers, Moore’s offers easy access to great fishing. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy fishing opener here or some of our fine fall fishing. With bait on hand, gas and boats in the harbor, this is the place for anglers to maximize their fishing time and enjoy a walleye feast in the evening.

Come and enjoy your stay at Moore’s Lodge. As our sign says, it really is “very nice!”

Jamey Helgeson

"I am from Rose Creek, Minnesota. I have been coming to Moore's Lodge for 30 years (give or take a few years) for my family vacation. I love Leech Lake. We have made a lot of friends over the years at Moore's Lodge. We enjoy fishing, sitting around the fire, playing yard games, relaxing on the beach and swimming. We stay in cabin 19 and we love all of the updates that we have been done over the years."
